Working out past 4-5months, no changes?!

Question: Hello, I'm an 18 year old who has started going to the gym since September, mainly doing cardio work and weights, and I havn't really noticed any changes?

I was hoping to have some decentish size arms, and a decent stomach by now, but its not really anything special, is there certain foods to eat? I eat enough protein i think, im not on the shakes or anything though, I train like 4 days a week for about 1hour a day, and do 3 sets of 20 pressups through out the day at home, and I go swimming every other tuesday..

http://img134.imageshack.us/my.php?image... of the arms.. i've seen 16 year olds bigger arms and they dont even train no way near as much as me??

any one know what i should be changing or am ijust really inlucky??

You must SHOCK your body. Obvioulsy what you are doing is more than what you did do, but not enough to make a change. Push yourself harder doing things you dont think you'd like to do. Instead of swimming, try a stationary bike on a high setting that makes you feel the burn and sweat harder. Increase your weights and reps. Cut out SUGAR, SALT and drink min. 64 oz of water every day.

maybe you are eating the same amount you burn... you are supposed to burn more eat less... maybe to arms or chest only exercises....

U need to work your body to the max. Dont just quit when youre tired, its not enough. If u were doing this all that time u would have notice muscle growth, and try doing heavy weights in low reps.
