DHA provided by Gerber's products, is well within the levels FDA considers safe. " Is there a safer form of DHA.

there is no problem with that product. basically they have placed a disclaimer on the product. in reality they don't test such things in the lab when it comes to pregnant humans.
scientists or those in the medical community do not perform medical study on pregnant women. the data is gathered from questionnaires, conversation, etc. they take the data collected, analyze it and come to a conclusion regarding what is a "safe" amount of DHA based on that data.
