How to be skinny?!


Question: this sounds like some crazy anorexic wanting tips on how to starve, i know. i've been there, done that. but now i'm healthy again, healthy but i feel awful. any tips on healthy anti-weight-gain foods? if that makes sense?

basically, what are healthy ways to loose about 5 pounds in about a month without adding much extra exercise?

im really trying to be healthy here, and thats why im asking advice. if i do this on my own, im gonna start just starving. im sick of doing that. sick of hating myself.

Lower your carb intake especially if you are carb sensitive, don't eat candies, softdrinks, junk food, fried foods. Eat less at night and eat more vegetable and fruits . Try to eat 5-6 times a day with small meals, this will improve your metabolism. Drink lots of water. If you want to eat some carbs the best is oats, brown rice, whole wheat bread, best eat this in early meals not at dinner time.

Add more fiber to your food. Fruits are are a good source. They fill you up and keep you full for a longer time. They also cut cravings so you'll find yourself reaching out less for other foods. Try it.

Okay here are some of my pointers that worked for me without starving to death. First of all, think about what you're eating everyday. Are you eating unnecessary high-calorie snacks? sodas/drinks? Try avoiding high-calorie food (always look at how much calorie it has). A healthy calorie intake (daily) for an average person is about 2000 calories. Go over, expect to gain unwanted pounds. Go under, expect to be hungry. Cut down on chips unless there's no other options. Go for chicken instead of meat. Avoid unnecessary dressings on salads. Just try cutting down the calories (doesn't meet cutting down on the actual food!). Also avoid eating at late hours. Special K can help you lose some pounds the first two weeks. Just eat Special K for breakfast and dinner and have a regular meal for lunch. Hungry? Go for water, veggies, and fruits. Don't starve yourself! You'll just get more hungry and eat even more later. Good luck! (.. and please don't starve. It's very saddening. Think of it like this: You only live once. Enjoy your life! And if you're average and saying you're fat, that's even more saddening. Enjoy what life has to offer .. and that includes food!) Once again, good luck!

... oh yeah! Drink a lot of water. It cleans away the toxins in your body. You'll feel more refreshed at the end of the day.

Losing 5 pounds in 1 months? thats too easy! Just get activity in for at least 1 hour every day. Eat healthy (Dont Restrict Moderate!) and if all else fails...go on the Jenny Craig Diet...Ive lost 6.5lbs in 12days!

always choose fresh over canned or processed...
fruits, vegetables, fish, chicken and dairy...
organize what you need .. say you eat 1,200 calories a day..
300 cals of fruit 300 cals of veg. 300 cals of protein 150 cals of dairy 150 cals of bread.. its easy and very managable also drink green tea on wakeup and b4 u go to sleep.. it gives u a flat tum!.. eat 3 meals and a snack or 2 a day.. drink ALOt od water.. burn off 400 calories day

hi, just drink a glass of water be for you eat it will fill you up be for you eat also good for you and dint eat after 6:00pm or 7:00 i been doing that and it working for me

You really shouldn't want to be "skinny". That is an unhealthy goal. In the natural world, that is an indicator of reproductive problems and possible disease. You want to focus on your word, " healthy". Eating foods that are unprocessed or as close to their original form will give you the nutrition you need without the extra calories. Greens are the best way to feel full and not take in very many calories. You will get great nutrition if you eat more greens and less bread and carbs.

definately do not chew and spit lol you need to eat!!! i'm sure you probably are thin but if you've been anorexic before you may not realise it because you may still have those thoughts. i lost about 5 pounds in a month by eating fruit a lot and vegies. you do need iron which comes from meat but you can get iron from beetroot and other fruits and vegies. you need to exersise but eating healthy is key. please don't starve yourself again because that is so bad and you're just making long term health problems for yourself. good luck on a healthy way to loose weight!!

Celery is that best. It has like 3 calories per stalk- its good with a lil peanut butter or neufeschtel cheese, which is like cream cheese only less fatty ...Also, tuna, fish like halibut seared, salmon and shrimp are good for you and only have omega 3 fatty acids which is the only kind of fat that is good for you. Drink 1-2 glasses of water before each meal- much of hunger comes from dehydration, plus the water will help you feel fuller quicker. Oats are great in the morning. Huge piles of any fruit and vegetable combo (I love garlic with spinach graced with low fat margerine or a teensy bit o butter, with 1-2 rye/wheat bread slices.Also, melon with sherbet is an awesome low fat delicious dessert when you need sweets! Eat more often, smaller portions, which will speed up your metabolism. Soup is an awesome filling meal- lentil, tomato, pumpkin bisque, sweet crab chowder, chili, portobello mushroom, barley. Eat big meal mid-day and 2 small "suppers" after. I recommend
meal 1- A banana, small bowl oatmeal {fruit &grain)
meal 2- 1/2 low carb bagel with low fat cream cheese, I scrambled egg {carb & protein}
meal 3- a pomegranate, steamed spinach and garlic {fruit, veggies...}
Meal 4 - your big meal- 1 fillet of fish /chicken breast/ tofu, I starch (rice, baked potato, whole wheat pasta), 1 fruit, 2 vegetables...
meal 5- some rye bread with honey/ celery with peanut butter
meal 6- a cup of low cal soup at about 3 hours before bed, a yogurt, or just something lite and comforting to help you sleep.

wow u could lose 5 pounds in 1 day.. some fighters can lose 20 pounds in a week..
