No to both - it all depends on how you stay active on top of what you eat or don't eat. A person that eats a lot can work out and do a lot of cardio and not get "fat" - and a person who doesn't work out and doesn't eat will still have a fat stomach. When you starve yourself, your body slows the metabolism, which actually makes it harder to lose weight and fat.

No no no... if you dont eat you will get fat too because you start to inflate and expand, your stomach will start to eat your insides, so basically just eat healthy and you are much much better off.

you must eat , not eating at all would make you anerexic !!!!!!! i have had anerexia it's not glamorous like the celebs it's a mental disorder well eating but i was mentally scared. eating healthy makes your tummy flat =]

This is the common misconception that most people have about eating. Eating a lot will not aways make you fat as you might have a fast metabolism and not eating at all may make you lose weight but it will also completely slows your metabolism down and therefore when you start eating normally again you will gain the weight alot easier then you previously were another reason not eating is bad is because your stomache will begin to bloat (like you see a lot of 3rd world countrys with lil kids that have big bloated stomaches) due to malnutrition.

If you starve yourself your metabolism will shut down. Then it will store fat cells once you start eating again. (Basically like squirrels when winter comes they know food is going to be scarce they store food for future use, This is kind of what your body does. It think's you have no food and will store fat from foods you take in after that.) I learned the hardway. Took a Doctor to tell me it. Anyway's I take Minerals, Vitamins and Natural water pills (it has asparagus, alfalfa and parsley) I drink tons of water and I lost 11lbs in 3 weeks with no excersizing. but have no time to excersize right now.
