Does this seem like an eating disorder Please please answer!?!

Question: I really wouldn't wanna have one. But okay, I'm into bodies like scarlett johansson and jessicA biel, but sometimes I have days when im hungry but I just don't wanna eat. And when I get my period or I overeat I feel like I gained weight and I get so upset about it. When I was like 12 I was in a stage where I was so obsessed with my weight and wanted a bodie like marykate olsen. I tried to not eat but when I get hungry I just knew I couldn't just not eat, so I'd be like whatever I'm hungry but I'd still worry about my weight. So I did something bout it and started working out, I like m body now I have a very tight stomach and muscular arms (sora, getting there) but if I were I stop working out for like 2 weeks or so I'd feel like I gained weight and I'd sometimes just look at my stomach and squeez it andjust get so pissed off. Its not an everyday thing is like if I stop working out or see a picture of me thats not so pretty. Its not as bad as it was when I was 12 (I'm 14 now)

I think it would be a good idea to talk to someone and get some sort of help, not that you have a MAJOR problem or anything but your still young and you need to be really careful with yourself thqat you don't develope afull on eating disorder like Bulima or Anorexia...then you will find it really hard to get out of. Sounds like you have some insecurities and body image issues....stemming from the media and the buillshit that they feed us all to believe. YOU are YOU...my advice is stop looking at Hollywood for inspiration....don't look at what she's got that you don't etc.....try to look inside yourself and shift your focus from all the body stuff onto the soul stuff...the things YOU are which are beautiful strong creative smart...etc....the things which make you uniquely YOU! Love your self sweetheart....and just try and SHIFT the focus....your too young to be going on this rollercoaster already.

Its called being a woman.

No im serious how many women go through this exact same thing??

At your age weight shouldn't be an obsession. But then again look at the world we live in. It's around you all day, in every commercial, the body of every celebrity (airbrushed i might add), and every television show. This sounds like a problem that does need to be consulted by a doctor, I doubt this is something you should try to handle alone. An eating disorder? I wouldn't go so far as to label it that. I think a lot of young females go through this during this day and age. It's not healthy, but it's not completely abnormal (if that makes any sense). Definitely seek proffesional help, because this could possibly be some sort of phobia, a form of ocd, or it could just be a self esteem problem. I wish you the best of luck. And remember your weight doesn't define you, a lot of those celebrities you want to look like don't even look like that, they get photoshopped, airbrushed, have nutritionists, and personal trainers, plus they get paid to look like that, but up close and personal none of them look nearly as perfect as the magazines make them out to be.

your hormones are messing with you
your tummy will always be a little soft because there is no muscle behind the skin there-
now it seems obvious but it took me years to figure out that one.
I have friends that are truly anorexic and they have major health problems so just know super skinny isn't good or pretty
I know when i got below a certain weight i just start to fall off the charts and i ended up getting a real holocaust look, ick.
the best advice i can give you is eat a healthy balance of foods. good quality protein sources, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, low fat dairy products.
those girls you see on tv that are so skinny...
......have you ever noticed that their heads look big on top of those toothpick bodies-gross

Since I started to work out I was looking for a good weight loss product (I only wanted something 100% natural). I was on a diet but I felt that I needed a little "help" so I decided to try this great product and I had fantastic results. You can check their website at
