Answers: Any diet plans will work, just tell me about them!

Four years ago I lost 75 pounds in 6 months by sticking to a low calorie diet I created for myself. This was a very strict diet and often hard to stick with. I ate one meal a day and drank only water or diet soda. The meal that I ate was anything I craved for the day, but that would have to suffice for the entire day so usually I choose something high in carbs to make me feel fuller.
This was an effective quick fix for me. But is nearly impossible to stick with long term, so more than likely with that method you are liable to gain some if not all of the weight back.
Over the 4 years I ended up gaining 20 pounds back because I couldn't stay eating only one meal a day. Then I faced a dilema. I wanted to lose the weight but couldn't bear the thought of going on that low calorie diet again. So I created a new one for myself which has been effective. I lost the 20 pounds. It has been a more gradual process. But I like this diet better. What I did was eat what ever I wanted all day long. But didn't allow myself to eat dairy, no milk or cheese. I switched to soy milk. I took out all signifigant forms of carbs; no bread, no pasta, no rice. And also no sugar. I stuck to foods high in fiber, Lots of lean meat ,soy and some fruits and vegetables. It was hard at first because subs and pasta dishes were my favorite foods but eventually I grew use to it. And I don't feel deprived. This diet changed my whole life style. It became more than a diet, but instead a way of life. I don't think I will ever go back, and the best thing is that you get to eat. You don't feel deprived and it's a healthy option.... so yea I suggest a very low carb, no sugar diet.

Completely cut out all soda and fast food. Limit your sweets, ice cream and whatnot, to once a week maximum. The cabbage soup diet is also great! ;)

try fasting.. don't eat at all after 8pm or 9pm untill 8 or 9 in the moring.untill then eat what you want in samll portoins till that time

The "diet" that never fails - burn more calories than you eat. Eat only healthful foods in moderation and exercise regularly. You will lose weight. And you will do it in a sustainable fashion. Avoid medications - they will not work in the long run. Avoid eating habits that you cannot sustain - no one can eat only cabbage the rest of their lives. Find a reliable friend to join with you.

first of all - start with excersice not dieting. reason- as soon as you start depriving body of current customary food intake, body automatically goes into starvation shock and starts saving up more fat than usual (basic survival need). to facilitate this, metabolism also goes drastically down. start with at least 20 minute walk, etc. -increase gradually up to 1 hour. simultaniously - have ginger, apple fresh squeeze juice in morning, granola cereal with crushed flax seeds an hour or 2 later. green spinach mix salad with very light dressing (or lemon juice) for lunch and late afternoon snack. another similar salad with grilled salmon or chicken for dinner. stricktly on this till your desired wt with bread or rice etc addition after about 4 days of this should hopefully give you the desired results by march. oooh and pleaseee do not forget the every amazing minimum 8 glasses of water throughout the day

Try weight watchers.Their plan works to loose weight and keep it off if you stay with the plan.

You have so many types to offer. You can do the calorie count diet. This one allows your body weight and height to be determine how much calories per day you can eat. I did and I lost 40 pounds. When I started that calorie diet I weighed 185 and came down to 145 within 6 months. I joined 24 hour fitness club along with it. If you have noticed they have now made packages that states only 100 calories in each package. Not all diets work for all people. It's what type of body fat you have and the metabolism. You have Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Lindora and a herblist/naturalest. It's what makes you comfortable. It takes time for body fat to decease. Drink lots of water and fiber can cleanse the toxin and help decease body fat. The more you sweat the more the fat comes off. The less fatty foods and sugary items the quicker the pounds will be gone, right? Think healthy, be healthy, eat healthy...
