HELP! how do i lose 5 pounds quick??!

Question: i'm 15, weigh 120-125 pounds and i have 20.5% body fat. i'm 5'5" and i'm pretty small framed. And now i have this new NASTY pudge on my middle area... it's DISGUSTING. i refuse to wear any tight clothing, cause i don't want my pudge to show. basically my entire wardrobe is super cute tight clothing except for a few sweatshirts and babydolls, and i'm super sick of repeating them. i need to lose this fat NOW. i've tried so many times, but i have trouble sticking to it! i've done low calories, that lasted a few days. i've tried to do low carbs, which is IMPOSSIBLE, that lasted about half a day. it's hard to eat healthy at school, and working out is sooooo boring for me. PLEASE help me!!!

Looking at your BMI (compares weight and height) you are right in the middle for someone your age. 20.5% body fat is also good for your age. Without seeing a picture to see what "Nasty pudge on your middle" really looks like, my guess is that you are growing normally from a little girls body to a woman's body. And that involves a little extra fat in places, like the tummy.

You aren't overweight. Don't worry about how you think you look in clothing. You have a body that is similar to your classmates. Wear what they wear, without trying to be sexy or totally hiding.

Your body has taken 15 years to get where it is now. It's not going to change in a few days of changes. Your eating and exercise habits, and "mother nature" have given you the stomach you have now. To change that isn't quick or easy, it takes working for a while on two things.

1. Exercise. Fat is simply extra calories, so you have to burn those off slowly, without starving your body. Exercise is the best way to do this. Working out is boring, but you have to do something. I tell most people to walk, run, bike or swim 30-45 minutes a day, 4-5 days a week.

If you've never worked out before, you might not have much natural muscle, so you might have a little more fat. Exercise builds muscle, which burns calories 24-7. If you build muscle, not only will you look toned and fit, but you can pig out once in a while and still fit in those jeans later.

2. Watch your eating, by keeping a food diary. I also track exercise and measurements (weight, waistline, hips...) too. Don't worry about carbs or fat or calories, but write down everything you eat, and how much you ate (I use a scale from 1=didn't eat much...to 5=stuffed and tired).

You may not realize how much food is going into your belly, but you notice every extra pound when you put on tight clothes. Writing down your food and exercise helps you keep focused on healthy habits.

you're perfect

sit ups!

ur thin its ok just try to hide it

well get some friends and go running, and do crunches. it is funner with friends along to keep you company.

The only things you can do is eat healthy and eat right...those are the only healthy things to do...

So if working out is too boring and you aren't dedicated enough to stick to a diet...then you aren't going to lose the weight...if you want to lose it bad enough you will do these things.

your at a healthy weight just to some crunches or something.

why did you ask this question? people wish they had your body, this is just a way to get compliments about yourself or brag about the body you have. just do the usual, eat healthy work out regularly and you should be fine. dont think of it as losing 5 pounds, think of it as getting in shape.

Watever you do Don't be Bulimic............. but do sit up everyday about 50 a day and work your way up to 100 a day it'll be gone in no time. cut back on fried foods and going to sleep after a meal.

hard to eat healthy at school? I'm assuming you BUY a lunch - yeah...pack your own lunch.

You're not going to get ANYWHERE, without doing the proper things to lose it to keep it off.
If working out is boring for you, ask a friend to join you.
Just eat 1200 calories a day.

cardio workout

Your 15, your growing. It will go away if you just stay healthy. I just baught one of those things you wear around your mid section. They're accually quite comfertable and it holds it all in. You also cant tell your wearing it. I just picked one up at Wal-Mart,$15 no biggie. But um if your REALLY worried try doing situps during commerical breaks, or take your mp3/iPod and go for a walk/jog around yoru block, bring a freind maybe?

You don't have to lose 5 pounds QUICK.

Do some crunches and aerobics on a daily basis and that should disappear, but it will take more than a week. But that way, it will stay off, since it takes quite a bit to lose muscle.

Exercise will also increase your metabolism so you can eat the same amount but burn more fat, which will affect your whole body - stomach and all.

Never do the no carb diet. You will just lose metabolism, slingshot, and gain even more weight.

First don't beat you self up about it OK. I know it's easier said then done OK. First thing DON'T EAT SUGAR FREE STUFF IT'S HORRIBLE FOR U. OK since u have a hard time eating healthy at school try this if u eat something sweet don't over do it make a small portion. Your eyes are bigger then your stomach. And if u want something sweet eat fruit, frozen fruit, or make a heathy fruit shake. To get off junk food keep away from it ask your friends and parents to help u at first it'll be hard but after a week it should get easier. Here's an idea for working out you could do a sport u like or there's some DVDs that are cardio while u dance so if u like to dance that's what u should do. Hoped i help:)

I suggest doing some exercises that get the legs moving, such as walking, jogging, running, swimming or bike riding.
These exercises that really get your heart pumping will burn the weight off quickly.

I like push ups, yoga stretches, pull ups, crunches, curl ups, leg stretches, calf raises, and squats as far as being good toning exercises that use no equipment and cost zero money to perform.

I like taking some dumbbells and doing some easy bicep curls, military presses, and lateral raises.

I think diet is important also and try to eat healthy home-cooked meals with lots of vegetables in them.

I try to stay away from the pop and sugar, candy, white flour products, and fast food.

I try to get a good night's sleep each night.
