Why am I so hungry?!?!

Question: Recently I have been so hungry all the time. This has just started happening in the past month or so. And I haven't changed my eating habits! I've been eating Special K protein bars but that's the only thing that's new. I work out 4-6 times a week (usually burning about 500 calories) but I've been doing that for almost a year now. I may have gained a pound or two. I've also been having a lot of gas (out the bottom end) and gas-x hasn't done anything for it. I'll admit it, I don't eat very healthily (if that's even a word) but I never have because I'm pretty picky. What could this be?

It may be that you're not getting enough carbohydrate with your meals. Try having more wholegrains like brown rice and see if this helps.

If not, I find drinking a warm drink like fruit tea fills me up without the calories.

It may not even be hunger, you may just be bored so could try doing an activity you enjoy when you start to feel cravings.

If all else fails I find brushing my teeth soon after eating means I'm less likely to snack later.

Good luck. X

u metabolism maybe has started to work faster. when u exercise, u need some healthy food. make sure u have 3 healthy meals a day.
u could eat at night but make sure to give the food a little time to be digested b4 u go to bed.

You could be having a growth spurt. That's what happened to me. I couldn't stop eating because I was always hungry, and then I grew. You can talk to your doctor about it. But just eat when you get hungry if you're still growing, even if you need to eat more than usual. Hope this helped:)

supplements never equivalent from solid meal.
and Special K is low calorie diet supplement and some fiber which makes you gas.

try to eat real food
