Dieting Question?!


Question: I am 5'9 300 lbs, and am trying to lose weight. I am going to the gym every day for about an hour. I havent had fast food for about a month ago (I started this diet a month ago) And Im focusing on my protein, then veggies, then fruit, and of course..Dairy (non fat) Plus i drink alot of water. Ive lost about 8 lbs so far. Am I doing okay? Or should I change my diet?

I think that you are doing great, you are losing it the right way, 2lbs a week and they say that they is perfect. Just continue doing what you are doing.

However having said that you don't mention carb's, have you cut them out completely or do you just have a smaller amount now?

sounds like you're doing a really good job :)
but try not to exercise too much, as that can prevent weight loss

no if i was you i wouldn't change the diet just keep eating healthy foods and exercising which is doing what your doing,
and another thing the slower it takes the weight to come off the more easy er to keep off.

after nursing school i weighed 286 pounds. i now weigh 155 pounds. i mainly focused on water and walking. i also stayed on a low calorie - low fat diet. hard to do but possible. once i got to my target weight i slowly started eating all of those pleasurable things i again but in very small portions and only once in a while. now (three and a half years later) i eat what i want but in moderation and my weight stays around 157-160 pounds..............good luck

The best diet in the world is Weight Watchers, and oh so easy, you just add up your points. I hate water, so I drink the Liptons green tea, and walking I do a lot of it. And a lot of Lean Cusine dinners. I still have what I want a few days a week. The weight comes off fast at first, then in spirts. I have lost 30# since August.............

There is a very good diet, called "The point-counting diet" . My mother's friend was 106 kg, now she is 63kg. Ask the doctor or some other consultant about the details.
