1) Eat reasonable meals, at least three a day, but preferably several small meals instead. drastic changes in blood sugar promote belly fat.

2) stay at least moderately active, but preferably work out at least three times a week. cardio workouts will be more effective. that's why people could do hundreds of crunches and never "get" abs...they're just building muscle, not burning the belly fat on top of the muscles. so things like jogging, cycling, aerobics, swimming, etc, are going to be more effective. I recommend aerobic weight lifting. it is very low impact and yeilds drastic results quite quickly even without diet. i lost 6 dress sizes in two months without dieting. and don't worry about "bulking up." it isn't pumping iron, it's adding resistance to normal workouts. women don't get "buff." that easily. We're built different than men.

3) eating acidic foods such as salsa or vinegar rather than cheeses or dressings...acidic food has been proven to speed digestion in a way that speeds metabolism.
4) chromium picolinate is the main ingredient in most over-the-counter diet pills. It regulates sugar levels in the body in a way that doesn't "speed" up the metabolism, but rather "makes it more effective." It is a harmless vitamin that is safe to take with every meal and available at any pharmacy right next to conventional vitamins like vitamin C

5) get plenty of rest. It helps your body work better. watch your stress. basically, take care of yourself. all of yourself.

hope this helps.

breakfast stops your fasting period and kick starts your metabolism in the morning... breakfast is a must... eat less food more often

being active and sporty all the time

the exercises that burn the most calories are the ones who require the most movement. like swimming, soccer, basketball etc. oh and make sure you stretch daily. :)

here are some ways you can boost your metabolic rate.

check out the link. :)

Ok, basal metabolism gets faster by growing muscles and by making your organism work all day.
Fat is burned by oxygen uptake.

1-So, at least once a week you should lift weights, not too much, just enough to tone muscles.
2- You should eat 5 or 6 times a day in small amounts. There's no big secrets about the diet: eat more lean protein sources like chicken, meat or fish. Have some fruits and vegetables too. And drink some water, Forget everything else: bread, sodas, cakes, pasta, chocolate, desserts, sauces...
3- You should burn more calories than ingested, daily. Oxygen uptake is the key. You need aerobic sports. 1 daily hour of slow running or medium biking or relaxed swimming. You can mix them too.

Doing these easy things you'll have an athletic body in 1 year.
Start easily, 15 minutes a day for a week, 30 minutes a day for another week. Don't rush yourself. Enjoy it. Make it a lifestyle.
More excersize, less food. That's a rule.
Bye bye.

any physical or mental activity will start your metabolic processes. so, any EXTRA physical or mental activity will elevate your metabolic rate where you burn extra calories.
swimming is the most extensive form of work out for burning unwanted calories. do several laps in the pool and work your way up as you progress to about an hour of swimming.
running or jogging is the next best physical activity to swimming. i prefer this because all you have to have is a nice pair of running shoes and the convenience of doing it where ever there is an open space. when you can't run anymore, simply unwind by just walking until you are rested. very, very simple!!!!
