Quickest way to flatten stomach?!

Question: I'm not fat or overweight and my doctor says that I'm average weight, but I want to flatten my stomach a bit more. Is there any excersises that worked for you? Or any ways to make my waist thinner? How often should I excersise and about how long will it take to get thinner?

The quickest way to flatten your stomach is with crunches and leg lifts. Well, that's not true. Those are good ways, but not quick. The quickest way is to pull your stomach in and hold it. Pull it in like as if you're trying to attach your belly button to your spine, and hold it in. Do that as often as you can remember. Your stomach will be flatter. Just remember to breathe and let your shoulders relax. Your waist will look thinner with that same exercise. You can also just bend from side to side, or do crunches toward opposite knees. Frequency of exercise depends of type of exercise. It's good to do something at least slightly aerobic for a few minutes every day. For building body mass, or strengthening, it's best to give muscles time to rest a day between serious exercise.

lots and lots of sit-ups........so easy and they work wonders

They say 30mins of exercise a day 5 days a week is sufficient.

To flatten your tummy you need to tone it. Drink plenty of water and use a abdomen cruncher. It helps tone you stomach hence providing you with a flat well toned stomach. Also sit ups are excellent for this too. Start of with a low count of say 10 a day then the following week up it by 5.

An ab and core workout is available here (complete with video): http://www.health.com/health/package/0,2...
Just do the three different routines three times a week (it shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes total) and you should notice a difference. Just remember to watch your diet and do cardio for half an hour at least three times a week as well.

In addition to ab exercises, some good tips can be found at: http://www.lazyfitness.org/modules.php?n...
Scroll down to "Stomach of Steel". You can do this while you're at work, cooking, taking a shower, etc.

listen all it takes is 25-50 situps a day and in a few weeks you will see results. But you have to make sure you do it every day. 25 situps isnt that much will take you less then 5 mins a day.

Flat stomach is probably the toughest. You have to do low, middle, upper crunches regularly. Jogging helps too. There is not time frame. Do it regularly and watch what you eat.

Since your a lady losing what fat may be around your mid-section will actually be easier compared to us blokes. Really your only option for a flatter stomach is to lose weight. You can do sit-ups and various crunches to define your abdominals a bit more, but this could be detrimental to you since you would start to develop a "six-pack", which is anything but flat! It may just be that you're the sort of person who isn't designed for a flat stomach. Usually people with flat stomaches have a very long torso. If the majority of your height is in your legs then you may always have a small amount of stomach on you. If your doctor says you're at an average weight then be thankful of that; many people are now overweight in our modern society, and maintaining that can be difficult enough as it. So long as you're healthy and happy then it's all good.
