Healthy weight for my height and where you got the standard?!


Question: I am 5'6, female and 13 years of age. (tall i know, lol)

Can someone tell me what the correct weight for me is? And also tell me where you got the standard from, please?

PS: I have good grades, I exercise and eat right. I just wanna know If I am doing everything right.

i am thirteen too, well almost. i say your really perfect weight is probably like 115-120. but i have to say your really not that tall. I am 5'11. I hope I helped..keep up the good work. :]

Well my little sister is about your height, and she weighs just over 7 stone, which is roughly around 100 pounds.
In my opinion, that is far too skinny !
I would say a good weight for someone your height would be around 120 - 140 pounds.
( About 8.7 - 10 stone )

You should be about 120-130.I got that because at 5foot your suppose to weigh 100 pounds than every inch after that equals a pound.(100+{6x5}=130)But it really depends on a lot of things.Im an inch taller than you-same age and about 115.I am very skinny-I dont try to be I just am.If you eat healthy and exrise your the perfect weight-healthy!

Well, if you are 5'6, healthy weight is anywhere from 115 to 154 (http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/). For a 13 year old, you seem to smart and conscientious, which is good. Keep up your good work. (oh, by the way, 5'6 isn't that tall for a 13 year old; I'm 15 and pushing 6 feet!)
