Need help about PILATES?!


Question: I'm 5'3'', 98 lbs, 22 years old.

My doctor said it would be good if I start pilates for my back pain and the little deformation (my low spine curved a little to the right side). Can pilates really fix that?

Also, how many times should I exercise in a week? I'm not flexible AT ALL by the way.

yes. pilates helps stretch your spine and it helps back problems very well. i would start by excercising 3 times a week and then slowly add on as you adjust. trust me i wasn't flexable but doing pilates for a few months and now i'm way more flexable then i've ever been. keep with it.

yeah- pilates is fun! It really helps my scoliosis :) you dont have to be flexible to start- but, it makes you pretty flexible :) have fun!

you could exercise every day with Pilates- it wont
strain your muscles and it will make your more flexible
