Diet plan for a great summer body?!


Question: i wanna get in shape for summer.
i'm 16, 5,8" and weigh 160 pounds.
i wanna lose around 25-30 pounds by summer.
i have a lot of muscle and big bones, but some fat still hangs around here and there. hahaha. if you know what i mean.

so here's my current "plan":
i have 45 mins of tae kwon do every tuesday and thursday.
i have P.E 5 days a week at school for about 35 mins.
i figure skate but i'm taking a break (might quit) but i still go to public skate once in a while, i can try to go every friday if that will help a lot.

so now my question is, how many calories should i eat per day to lose like 25-30 pounds, by... maybe about june? july possibly. just so i can look great for the summer.

and is there any easy recipes/suggestions for the food?

a plan for a few days/weeks would be great. :]

Yeah you could do it. Don't overwork yourself and deprive yourself, though. Great with the excercise, just stay away from sugar, white bread, and starches.. and eat whole grain bread with lot of fiber, green veggies, low fat dairy, lean protiens and fruit, and the weight will be falling off. ^_^ Good luck.

eat 1200 calories. 4 carbs each meal and one nite snack with 2.5 carbs.
