How do you increase your bench press ?!


Question: I want to lift more weights, what's the best way to do it ?

I'm alright with 120lbs, should I increase to 2 ... 45lb plates, and try benching 140 pounds a few times ?

Hey man... It has to do with changing up your routine. Try doing fast reps up to 20 times before you go heavy. These are fast twitch muscles and they help build your weight gradually from week to week. Try a close grip on the bench to build your triceps up too. If you eat right, drink a lot of water, get rest and supplement with creatine or L-glutamine you should see results if you keep it up. Dont forget your other body parts too, cause benching aint gonna get you overall mass alone!!

yes but have a spotter on hand

do hammer curls but lean in with the dumbbell to create more effect. it worked for me and i can now bench press 240Ibs
