My BMR is too low?!


Question: i did one of those BMR calculators online, and it said my BMR is only 1300. i want to lose 15 lbs by summer although it will be impossible since i can only reduce my calories to 1200 to be healthy. i try to run a mile everyday, but that only burns 50 calories or so, and i can't run much further. would my running increse my BMR to 1600 or something? or only burn the 50 calories? thankyou

i am a bit confused. You can eat more then 1300 calories a day w/o gaining weight. If you run on top of that you will lose weight fast. Running a mile btw is like 110 calories if not a bit more. I would try running 3 miles a day if you really want to lose weight.
