Yes, add the weight of the bar. A "standard" bar that you'd find in a gym weighs 45 pounds. Many home versions and smaller/shorter bars weigh less.

Most Olympic barbells weigh 45 pounds. There are many other bars you can use...some weigh 35 pounds, some weigh 25 pounds. When lifting with a barbell, yes you do add the weight of the bar to your total lift.
