Start with stretching excercises, just slowly roll your head from side to side and in slow circles. Try nodding and tilting, see if theres any one area that may be causing the problem or if its just a general fatigue. Any sharp pain stop straight away and see a doctor.
You may want to consider talking to a physio and/or a massage theripist as they could give more expert advice on excercises to do.
