I have a mild sharp shoulder pain,should I........?!


Question: I have a mild sharp shoulder pain.I have decided to drop off my weights and do less in the coming week and leave shoulder workout as well for a week so that I dont injure my shoulder further..Is this a correct decision or PLEASE TELL ME WHAT SHOULD I DO.

When you say first head and middle head do you mean the front and side heads of the deltoid muscle?

If so, it sounds like a strain in the muscle so , yes, a rest would be good.

If the pain is coming from the joint, rest and also see a physiotherapist.

sounds like you have pulled a muscle. you have muscles in your neck that run though you back which may be the cause of the pain in the back. you did make the best decision. if the muscles are strined you would need to allow time for them to heal. as the muscle heals the pain should go away.

u might have pulled or tron the tendons or something, put some ice on it if it does not get better see a doc. stop ur exercises if it does not get better and use a little less weight next time. stretch before and after ur workout with a light warm up. hope it helps
