Geting fit without weights!!?!


Question: I want to get in shape, I have alot of fat on my small frame(5'2 & 100lbs/ female/). I'm not into lifting weights, but i heard of bodywt exercises and i love cardio. The military uses only these methods (they don't use wts) and their men are in great shape. How is this possible? Can i get in shape with out weights like they do?? I eat around 1600 cals a day is that enough or too much....Any advice... please!

You could probably do yoga or pilates to stay in shape. It's a better workout than you may think. This will get you lean muscle, not bulky muscle that lifting weights can cause.

Keep in mind, that when you workout, your weight may go up because muscle is heavier than fat. You may need to increase your calorie intake so your body can perform the exercises.

Military does plenty of running, pushups, and chin ups.
