If you really want to lose weight, especially that nagging body fat you have to do three things. It would help if you had a gym membership:

1) Strength training or lifting weights
2) Cardiovascular exercise (jogging, running, walking, on the treadmill or just outside)
3) Dieting, don't starve yourself but eat less, count calories if you want.

Tip: When you go to the gym, do strength training first and then do some sort of exercise to get your heart rate up, for at least 30 minutes. Oh, but go to the gym every other day, don't overwork yourself.

The most important thing is that you have to stay motivated. Do you really want to lose weight? If so, then you have to make a big sacrifice to change that. The one thing that makes people quit after a week or so is because they don't see results right away and you won't either! But the results will come with time. You just have to keep pushing yourself and know that once graduation comes around you'll be feeling great. Good luck.

Well if you are truly devoted...

jumping rope is great just make sure you do it on a wooden floor or on an impact mat to protect your joints.

Reduce the amount of food you eat... otherwise if you're still eating a lot while doing excercise, you won't lose a lot or you can still actually gain weight. When I came here to college I've been so lazy to the point where I won't go out and buy snacks.... and I eat around 3x a day and I walk a lot...
So far it's been guaranteeing me a weight loss of 10lbs a month which is pretty nice. No diet "miracle" pills or anything.
Remember, to lose weight you need to burn more calories than you take in. Otherwise it'll still build up...
Good luck on your weight loss journey!

you should try eating much healthier foods ex. fruits and vegetables - drink 2 liters of water everyday.sit-ups, bench press, jumping jacks, and push-ups.. anyways good luck.

Is eating considered as exercise to you? If yes, I will recommend calorie shifting method. You can easily lose about 7lbs every 2 weeks if you follow the diet plan as well as do some regular exercises such as jogging. If may sound incredible and impossible, but it is actually scientifically-proven. I personally lose about 10lbs in 2 weeks.

Using this method, you can eat whatever food you like at any amount. It works by allowing you to eat different types of calories in order to stimulate your body to produce more hormones and enzymes to burn more calories and fats. You can find out more about calorie shifting here :

please keep in mind that you will need to have professional guidance when doing calorie shifting because different food has different kinds of calories.
