I feel REALLY FAT and I hate it?! :(?!


Question: It's really cold outside right now and I HATE the cold and I haven't got out to jog as much and I've gained a bit of weight and I feel disgusting because I look fatter now and when it was X-Country season I ran like 3 times a week.
I'm 12. Is it normal for em to gain weight. Also my family eats nothing but junk food but they never eat out either and my family has like no money and junk food is cheaper.
I love healthy food but I usually hate what they are eating and I just have a peanut butter sandwich or a bowl of cereal.
Like after pay day everyone just pigs out and than we have nothing to eat (there are 5 people in my family)

OMG, I just feel soooo fat.
I want to cry sometimes cause I feel like a pig.
I just ate 4 peanut butter cookies because there was nothing else to eat.
I am such a pig :(

What do I do?

By the way, I'm 12 years old, 125 pounds and 5'6 or 5'7.

You are not fat and from what you say you don't mind exercizing. Why don't you excercize in your room, Watch some of the arobics that are being done on TV and do them. You are still going to school so talk to the gym teacher and ask him/her for help. Tell them what you eat at home and the food siuation and they may be able to recommend something for your diet. Tell it to them the way you told it to us. That is one of the things they are there for. And Don't worry about your weight a lot of people would love to weigh that little.   • Get yourself the downloads or the cds that I use. They are safe, and you won't hurt your body. Only the way you think while you are eating food. There is even one I use for Removing the Sugar Addiction, it's really cool, and I think you would really benefit from it.     You sweet girl! Do not be so hard on yourself! You are a good weight for your height!!!!!!!!!! That's great. You are working hard to be healthy so look at positive stuff. Try to save up some money of your own and get healthier foods. When you go out to eat, find something like a salad on the menu. Tell your family that this is a bad habit and you want it to change!     you are deff not fat at all if your 125 pounds and 5'6 or 5'7
    do exercises inside the house like jumping jacks, lunges, or sit ups if you want to get in shape.. also, try to buy a lot of fruits, i dont think fruit is that much more expensive than junk food

    wow! you are pretty tall there!!! i'm only 14 and i'm only 4'11'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wish that i was tall like you!!!! anyways, if your family is eatting a lot of junk food, then i sugguest that you talk to them because you will need there support to help you become healthy!!!!! you gotta be strong and stand up for what you believe. if you believe that your family should start eatting more healthy then. you can start exercising as well to maintain a healthy weight. you can start walking and jogging since those are the basic to becoming healthy! well you can buy workout videos also and try working out daily. but this won't help much because it's the food that will make you not healthy since your family eats a lot of junk food, so first i suggest that you talk to your family about eatting healthy foods. you can warn your family about what might happen to them if they only eat junk food. for example, eatting a lot of junk and unhealthy food can lead to obesity. so you can start some research and tell your family this, and maybe this might persuade them to start eatting healty food. and even you guys can start exercising together as well!

    It will pass when the weather warms up if you still want to go out and jog wear warmer clothes..i have even seen many joggers out there when it was around zero they was really bundled up
    Go to a sporting good store like Dicks..they carry cold weather gear for jogging in the cold

    You are tall and definitely not overweight. You are also 12 years old.

    Take up sports, you are worrying excessively about your appearance at this time. Keep healthy, eat well and stay active.

    You can start to worry when you are 18 and weigh in at 160 lbs but then again at your height right now you will probably go to 6' tall and be a model.

    join a gym... this way no matter what the weather, snow, rain, or sun.. u have no excuse not to go workout.. u should go u have so much access to go equipment... great equipment

    get a part time job and work.. goodluck
