Are squats a good way to increase metabolism?!

I was also told that commensurate increase in metabolism would lead to a equal increase in appetite, so that, for the exercise to be effective, I really had to watch my diet.

the best and quickest way to increase your metabolism it by eating, but you need to do it right, eating smaller meals and eating more during the day, 5-6 times instead of 2-3 is the best, remember to eat healthy foods, use fresh ingredients, stay away from fried fatty foods, avoid caffeine alcohol salt and sugar as much as possible
