It really depends on your weight, age, metabolism, body type, sex as to how quickly you can take it off.
Just take one day at a time and you will be on your way.
I think an average healthy amount for a female to lose is about 2lbs per week.

Doesnt really matter what the distance is when your running, but just remember to burn more calories than you eat, which is easy cuz over half of the calories are burned from digestion.
