I'm 18 years old, female & 5ft5. How much should I weigh?!

Question: depends on your frame size and how much of you is fat and how much is muscle.

you cant answer that question as muscle weighs more than fat and if you have a small bone structure you should weigh less than someone of the same size but with a big bone structure.

just look at your body and your clothes - that will tell you. ignore the scales and all that BMI crap - its rubbish the government make up to scare ppl and means absolutely nothing in the real world

depends on ure bone structure/build

Look you know if your a fat slob, or a stick, anythin else don't matte none, man its all numbers, man chill

have you calculated your BMI? A safe minimum is about 20, but there is scope for variation...

BMI = weight (kg) / ( height (m) squared )

My BMI is over 25, so I could lose a bit. If yours were 20, you would be... hang on, lemme check... about 55kg. That's probably about as light as you want to be. Go no lighter. If anything, put a bit on.

The phrase "big boned" is genuine, it's not a euphemism. If you have a heavier-than-average skeleton, then you would be unhealthily thin at 55kg.

If you are athletic, you're going to be heavier than that anyway - muscle is heavier than fat.

PS 55kg is 121 pounds, which is 8 stone 9 pounds. So we kinda all agree.

it depends on your muscle status age has nothing to do with it ussually but the average is 125 but it really depends and your measurements and clothing size

Between 8hlf and 9hlf stone i would imagine im 5ft2 and did one of those things at tesco said i should be between 8 and 9st

Look at this!!!

its great for finding out BMI

You should weigh whatever makes you buxom, rosy-cheeked and with a look that says 'I'm great fun at parties'. ie. ever so slightly plump.

Avoid a weight that makes you look like you've evolved from a spider, ie. rake thin, like you only eat Ryvitas and don't know how to enjoy yourself.

53-70kg is ideal for that lenght
your lengh is absoulty perfect for most guys..

between 111 and about 149 pound is the normal weight. but if your big built like me, a little (like 5-10 pounds) of extra weight isn't unhealthy. just watch what you eat, stay active, and your body will the do the rest. good luck!

I'm the same height and I weigh 120, more or less. I'm somewhat skinny, though so maybe 5 or 10 lbs more than me. Find you BMI.

I don't think your age matters...it's the height that I am looking at...if you say you are 5'5", your weight should be anywhere from 125 (skinny) to like 145 (still healthy, but maximum before it's considered to be "pushing it") But if you're in between these...and even if you're 145-150 I still think you're healthy! I am 5'5" and NO WHERE near these weights, but my goal is to be somewhere in between, because this is a healthy weight for our height...so, if you're there you're fine, if not, you're young and you still have a fast metabolism...eat healthy and stay active and the pounds should come right off! Hope this helps!! : D

110lbs - 150lbs

I would say about 8stone to be safe.

Hi
