Burning calories question....?!


Question: i know that it takes 3500 calories burned to lose 1 pound of fat. i would like to lose fat, so i started yesterday, but not the exercising part. my question was is it better to burn 500 calories per day (7x per week), or to burn 600 calories 6x per week?

You don't only have to "burn" those calories. You can just limit 250 calories of food a day (although don't go lower than 1200 calories a day) and add 250 calories worth of exercise everyday to get rid of the 3500 calories. Try Sparkpeople.com for ideas. They have a food and exercise tracker that worked great for me. I lost 40 pounds last year.
