Nah, I would recommend eating a lot of the bottom layer of the food pyramid. Pasta, rice, bread, etc.

Eating them before you go to sleep helps too. While you're sleeping you don't burn nearly as many calories as you do during the day, so it won't just be burnt off hours after you eat it.

well eating a lot of protein isnt going to make you gain muscle. working out and making sure you get enough calories period will help you gain.

to gain your weight up, you need to eat a lot of carbs, such as pasta, bread, rice, wheats, those types of sorts.

Make sure your not just eating protein, get some carbs in there too if your working out a lot. Also, i recommend nutrition drinks like Ensure etc.

eat 5-8 smallish portions of bread rice pasta and protein. work out at the gym but eat more than u burn, say ure burning 2500 caloies in a day eat 500 more than you burn. when at the gym perform one rep max instead of lots of repititions. doing a lot of repititions is good for endurance. doing one or 2 reps that you really struggle to do and makes tyou knacjered is the best for buildinh strength and muscle

You might try creatine in addition to what you are doing. Carbs are good but they will add "fat" weight, if you don't do it right. I'm a big fan of protein...Good luck

Practice yoga: primarily the breathing exercises: "pranayama".

But you must learn them by heart, and practice daily; otherwise they want do you any good.

Most people into improving their physical person, don't appreciate the importance of proper oxidation of the body. You can't build muscles or bones without adequate oxygen: think about it.

P.S.-And drink tons of water: every day; I drink 64 ozs. every day: this doesn't include beverages with meals, etc.

My hubby has the same problem. he drinks those ensure drinks or any generic like then at least 3 a day you will be surprised...vanilla is the best.
