To some people they may be bad for your taste buds. As for your health they are not bad for you. They are a healthy snack and are much healthier than chips, cookies and other fatty snacks.

They're not bad for you, but can stick to, or in between your teeth in the same way candy does. It's a good idea swish some water in your mouth after eating. Brushing right after eating something sweet is the worst thing you can do, as it brushes off the enamel that has been weakened by the raisins. If you must brush, wait 30-60 minutes after eating so that the tooth enamel can re-strengthen.

The good about raisins is it raisins are high in antioxidants. I read in Reader Digest before that raisins actually make you think faster.
