I need to lose weight?!


Question: I am 13, 5" 3', about 160 pounds, and i desperately need to lose weight. It is crucial for my health and my looks. I basically need a good plan because i am almost all the time busy with school, extra-curricular, and homework. I don't have time to exercise.

never try diet they dont work so try to
* Keeping a food journal
* Spending more time in the grocery store reading food labels
* Spending more time preparing meals
* Saying no to extra portions
* Making conscious choices about what you put in your mouth.
and when you just because your bored say no and drink water trust me i works and try to excise a little and cut you protions in half or look and serving sizes and if that dont work try thid excises
One thing you can do is pick up a heavy weight, such as a barbell, and HOLD the weight for 60 seconds. Use a clock with a sweep hand to keep track of the time.

When lifting, keep your elbows bent, your knees bent, and bend over a bit. By doing this, your muscles hold the weight, not your bones.

Do every other day. Add more weight once a week.

This will tighten up your abs as well as the rest of your body.

Watch what you eat. Drink at least 10 glasses (8 oz) of water, cut back on sodas, candy, refined(white) sugar. Eat lots of fruit, veggies (celery is great). You will need to exercise even if it is walking for 20 minutes and everyday. if you do some kind of physical activity every day and eat 5-6 little meals throughout the day, you should see changes. If you start lifting weights, that will tone you up and increase the fat burn + metabolism.

If you want to lose weight AND be healthy, you'll have to make time to exercise. Get up an hour early to go for a jog. Drop a current extracurricular and add one that will help you get in shape, such as a sport or yoga. Ask your parents to get a treadmill, and walk on it while reading one of your textbooks (I do it all the time). Just find little ways to add exercise to your schedule. Pair that with a healthy diet (talk to your parents and doctor about healthy eating for your age) and you should be able to shape up. Good luck.

breakfast .........1 oarnge and a glass of water/milk

lunch..........ham and cheese sandwich on WHEAT with water or milk

dinner........spaghetti with meat sauce w/ Diet coke or water

stick to days with thay kind of meals and if you MUST have a snack have some grapes :)

Eat breakfast!!! (oatmeal low sugar, or low cal high fiber cereal)

Eat 5-6 times a day

Eat at least 2 fruits and 3 veggies a day;
plus lean chicken/pork/ turkey

NO soda, chips, or french fries!!!!

You must find time to do some type of exercise, it will drop the weight twice as fast.

make time to exercise. b4 bed do 20 situps. if you want it youll make it happen.
