Depends on your weight and height.

I am 275 and 6' -- I can burn 1000 calories (as per the elliptical's computer) in 65 minutes.

I also burn 600 calories walking at 3.8 mph at at 2% upgrade.. so if I walk 2 hours, I can do 1000 calories.

Tips:
1. Make sure you are hydrated before, during and after the exercise.

2. Watch your heart rate... don't go over 80% of your max heart rate (220 - age). So if you are 30 years old, your max HR is 220-30=190; so 80% of 190 is 152.

3. If you feel light headed or dizzy, STOP.

4. Break up your routine... 500 calories in the morning, 500 in the afternoon/evening.

5. Warm up & stretch to prevent muscle cramps.

You can't... that's soooooooo unhealthy.

It's called Excercise and your daily diet needs 2000 calories to the least so burning 1000 is too much. Try eating 4000 (which is healthy, actually) and try burning off 500.

It's not healthy to burn that many calories a day, unless you're an athlete and are consuming enough energy to make up for that loss.

It all depends on your weight.

its not safe to burn that many calories... it all depends on how many calories you eat a day, and your height/weight. a simple way to do it is dance. but be careful how many calories you burn. if you burn more calories than you eat you technically are anorexic.

don't eat 1000 calories a day then maybe u don't have to do anything

just by living and breathing you burn a lot of your daily intake a day. You only need to burn like 300 extra from exercise.
