How effective can weight gainer be?!


Question: im a hard gainer... always have been and always will be... i have to eat alot to gain any weight... eating enough to get me bigger is becoming a financial burden.... is taking weight gainer to replace the extra food i need to eat ok?

I took weight gainer and my face and neck got fat.
I lowered the amount I take now to only 500 calories max.
I take it right after my workout mixed with my whey.

Remember weight gainer is mostly sugar(simple carbs). Simples carbs spike blood sugar levels. The only time you would want to do that is right when you wake up and right after a workout. Other than that they are bad for you.

Try eating a lot of brown rice and oatmeal. They are good calorie fillers and are complex carbs.

If you can't gain body fat, then try working out and gaining some muscle weight. Muscles weight more than fat, and you'll be alot healthier.
