Getting toned muscles?!


Question: im 14 turning 15 in april , 5'3 and 112 pounds
my sister think im SkinnyFat which means that im skinny weightwise, but fat considering i have no muscles in my body and fatty flabs all over the place.
i want to get toned and be healthy for once, because im almost failing Gym, and eat junk everyday. i cant run for 2 min withought breathing heavly or cant handle push-ups, sit-ups, etc.. i really want to be healthy, and get toned for the summer:P
my stomachs a flab, and so are my thighs and arms.
PLEASE HELP
how can i workout at the gym, without hurting myself? i am really out of shape, and 30 min at the gym tires me out. what are some thing i can do, and what should i eat? i never eat breakfast cuz i have no time, and i sometimes eat lunch. I DONT WANT TO GET BIG MUSCLES!! just toned .

Good for you!! The best thing is you don't need to lose weight so it will be really easy to build muscle and you'll see the results quickly. I've just started losing weight and while I've gained quite a bit of muscle you can't see it because it's under the fat!

Start by going for a walk. Put your ipod on, it's amazing how much easier it is to exercise when you're listening to music. Pick songs with a fairly fast beat, stuff that gets you going. If you can only walk for 10 minutes on the first day, that is fine. Aim to walk a little further each week. When you can, do a bit of jogging. Maybe jog for a minute then go back to walking. Set yourself goals (eg this long, or this far) so you'll keep pushing yourself to get better.

At home do some crunches, push ups and tricep dips. Lunges are fantastic for your legs and bottom. Do some squats too. You can find heaps of exercises to do at home with no equipment at all. Soon you'll be doing more crunches and more push ups.

If you want to go to the gym see if you can get a training program done for you. When I was 18 I went in and they did an assessment, worked out my goals and showed me which exercises I needed to do. I was really skinny but wanted some definition. They will start you off slowly if you explain how unfit you are.

Try, try to eat breakfast - even a sandwich or a smoothie on the go. You need to eat about 5 small meals a day with plenty of protein to really help build muscle. You will be exhausted if you only eat once a day. Keep fuelling your body and it will help your metabolism.

the reason you're getting tired at the gym is because maybe you aren't eating well..after all you do eat junk as you've mentioned..well go talk to someone at the gym, an instructor perhaps, they'll help you out on ways to get toned. and lok up stuff on google like "do you do cardio before weights" and such i did that and am more aware of these things
