Is it Normal to have muscle aches after Tennis??!

Question: 4 Months ago I started on an exercise routine which began with cycling, more recently light jogging and yesterday played some tennis for the first time in 10 yrs. I got tired very quickly even after all my cycling/jogging and today I am aching all over. Should I see a doctor as I worry about having a chronic disease....lower back is the worst muscle ache. I'm 27, 1.93m and 72kgs. Thanks for any advice.

It is extremely normal i play tennis alot and after a short period of time my arms and the rest of my body begin to wear out and i am quite fit. There are many cause of your sudden pain.

1) You havent played in a long time and your muscles are just getting used to playing again.

2) I sometimes get pain in my lower back and it pains me and feels awkard to run or jump.

3) Maybe your body is so used to using the muscles for cycling that the muscles for playing tennis had tightened up and now you are just getting over it.

I think you need to go to a chiropractor and ask if you've torn a muscle and he will diagnose the problem from there, If pain still persists after the chiropractor then arange regular meetings with him and eventually you will be just fine.

Good Luck!!!!

its quite normal initially...but if it persists even after a week after practice consult a doc....

Its quite normal
because you stretch and expand your arms just to hit the ball
and if you ride far with your bicycle your bound to have pain in your muscles. and jogging, do not jog too far oor else of course your muscles will hurt .. do all these things with less persistency and energy..
and if this continues even with less energy put into the work, consult a doctor!
hope it helps!

No

YOU SHOULD SEE A DOCTOR BECAUSE YOU WAS DOING EXERCISE SO YOU ARE ACCUSTOMED FOR MOVEMENT.IF PAIN IS THERE MAY BE YOU HAVE TORE SOME MUSCLES OR DISLOCATED YOUR SPINE WHILE PLAYING.ASK DOCTOR,
