Eating once/twice a day?!

Question: So here's the deal, in the morning in not really hungry, sometimes i get hungry around lunch time (but only sometimes) and then i have dinner. I'm not doing this because i think I'll lose weight, it's just that during these hours, the thought of eating really makes me sick. Is this healthy?

You are exactly like me. I can't eat in the morning either, the thoughts of it make me sick too. I know, my doc. always tell me that I should eat 3 times a day, but I just can't no matter how much I try. I end up eating only at dinner time. Now, that's not right either, but I just don't feel like eating. On the weekends when my husband is home, then I will eat lunch and dinner, but no matter how much he tries to encourage me to eat breakfast, I just can't. Some people just eat when they're hungry. I don't see anything wrong with that as long as you eat healthy. That's just my point of view and I'm sure many will disagree with me. That's alright too. Be blessed

it is hard enough getting in sufficient nutrients with 3 meals and 2-3 healthy snacks daily. it is impossible to supply the body with the daily nutrients in only 1-2 meals. there is no true storage capacity for micronutrients (vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, etc.) in the body so when you eat the body uses what it can at that moment and excretes the rest "assuming" that another meal is coming in several hours. humans are designed to graze over the course of the day which is why smaller meals and snacks are optimum for nutrient utilization and energy levels, blood sugar levels, insulin levels, etc.

if you are getting the recommended 60 minutes of daily exercise then you should have no problem with eating regular meals.
