Along with sensible healthy eating and regular exercise, it is possible. I managed to lose 52lbs in just over 5 months.

Try to keep junk foods, ready made meals you buy in the supermarket, and takeaways to an absolute minimum. These are high in refined sugar and full of saturated fat. These add pounds to the waistline.

Include more wholefoods in your diet - brown bread, brown rice, brown pasta - which contain high amounts of fibre, which means you feel fuller for longer.

Eat lean meats, poultry, fish (with scales on, not breadcrumbs), eggs, vegetables, beans & pulses (including potatoes, but keep them plain and simple), fresh fruit, low fat dairy products, skimmed milk, non sugar cerals, and sugar free beverages.

Drink plenty of water, snack on fresh fruit only, try to cut your portion sizes down if you can, stop eating once you feel full.


Try to MOVE AS MUCH as you can. This will help acelerate weight loss. To lose a pound you have to burn through exercise or life functions about 3,500 calories. So you need to combine exercise with a healthy diet.

Try the cereal diet thingy cause ceral is quite filling. Just try sticking to three main healthy meals and then if your still hungary try fruit as snacks in between.

in that case when you are really hungry eat healthy food like vegtable and fruit and also do alot of exercise like go running or do aerobics in your house...

cut out bread cakes biscuits drink plenty of water.

Firstly 2 stone in 3 months might be a little optimistic (especially as you say you are always hungry and seem to criticise everyone who tries to help). However, exercise frequently, as this will help and will also tire you out a little.

Eat soup as its supposed to be a healthy way to lose weight, whilst keeping you feeling full for longer.

Plenty of water and dont keep any snacks in the house at all!

Get a mate and go to weight watchers.Im not joking,they will teach you what to eat and what not!I take it its for your wedding!

get away from the pc nd do sum excercise instead of sittin down all day postin stupid questions!

Lower your carbohydrate intake.

No chips, bread, crisps, cakes, pasta (unless brown) , carbonated drinks, etc.

Eat smaller portions - instead of 3 big meals a day, have 5 smaller ones. NO CARBS.

That shouldnt be a problem... look into starting the gi diet. I use it to control my blood sugar levels as i am diabetic and it keeps me fuller longer and is healthy / tasty foods. With that i work out 3 / 4 times a week and iv nver felt better!

I'm with you every step of the way,i need to lose 2 stone myself,so next week I'm taking the plunge and going to join weight management,i have started to help myself by eating porridge for breakfast,and if i get hungry drink lots of ice cold water and a Muller light yogurt,instead of my usual sugar puffs and chocolate,which iv ate tons of since Christmas,I'm thinking healthily that's a start xx good luck hope you get lots of good answers

I find that if i want to eat healthily it is best to buy your food when you are not hungry and stock up on loads of fruit and veg and low fat milkshakes or something and just eat them before you get hungry so you dont feel like popping to the shop to get crisps or chocolate because you are already full up.

You first need to set your self a realistic goal, just a few Ibs a week is healthy. Do not be fooled by fad diets, or diet pills. The best way to loose weight healthy and permanetly is diet and exercise. If you want to maximise your weight lose and get the most out of your diet and exercise here are a few tips :-
You WILL need to exercise. I dont know how active you are at the moment but try and keep it as varied and as regular as possible. If you do the same activities (ie running 35mins every day for example) your body does become fitter and you will loose some weight however it adapts to this activity quickly and no further weight will be lost but rather maintain a level weight. However, doing very varied exercise will keep the body guessing and there for will not adapt into one form of exercsie helping you loose weight.
With calouries, its very important that your body doesnt adopt starvation mode. This is when your body is uncertain of when the next meal is OR if you are in negative calories (burning more then you are taking in). If this happens your body will automatically store food as back up fat reserves. Haveing 5 small but nutrious meals through out the day will help. If you start at 9:00, 12:00, 13:00, 15:00, 18:00 21:00 (the meal at 21:00 will be a light friut snack and try not to eat carbs after 17:00) this will not only help with the colorie intake you need but also helps your body not clock into starvation mode. It will also help you to loose weight as your metabolism will also be constantly stimulated and alleviate those hunger pangs you feel (which more often then not lead to snacking) It is important that you keep to this 5 meal aday as a routine and not to miss meals.(or pick inbetween them) make sure your meals have a balance of fruit veg, lean meats, healthy carbs and healthy fats. (healthy fats can be found in : Olive oil, Avacardo, nuts.)

Are you pregnant? May be why you need more food. Could also be the cold weather.

Eat smaller meals but have something in between, so instead of three meals, breakfast lunch and dinner, you eat six meals a day. That hopefully should stop you craving.

Hi I would suggest that a good balanced diet and regualr exercise might hel[p quite a lot..However dont overdo it, you want to look fantastic on your weddind day and not knackered...Good luck..
