For people who eat healthy?!

Question: What is a normal routine/diet plan that you stick to?

I want to successfully cut certain foods out of my diet entirely, in order to be healthier.

What is a managable 'food guidline' that you use?

It will take a lot of self-discipline and support from family members and a partner in similar circumstances to diet and reduce your weight if you r considered to be obese.

Basically avoid all the fast or 'junk' food and gassy drinks out there.Barley drinks and tea/coffee with little sugar are bes.

Eat more veggies and drink adequate amounts of water daily. Fill up a bottle of water and place in your room. Avoid oily, salty, fried foods.

Reduce on ice-cream, chocolate, cakes, pastries and all those yummy yummy stuff. I know they are very tempting.

Do jogging, gym work or brisk walking three-five times weekly. 30-45mins per session and make sure you perspire. This takes a lot of will-power and a partner with similar situation and goals would help greatly for encouragement.

Weigh, measure yourself at beginning of your programme and every fortnightly. I believe you should be a different person in 3 mths time! Best of health!

well i lowered my foods and snacking and drank (i really mean ALOT) alot of water....i lost over 20 pounds. no joke. i never ate fast food, lowered my meat consumption (not to like none, but ate chicken and a bit of beef per week) and the next time i stepped on the scale, i lost a whole bunch of weight. now it's not about quitting eating and just eating veggies its just staying away from junk food and drinking like tons of water

I just generally stay away from foods I know are bad for me. Like chips, pizza, burgers, hotdogs, desserts of any kind.

Just try to eat veggies and fruits, more whole grains (no white bread). The key is moderation. You can really eat whatever you want as long as you do not eat too much of it. Like I had a burger on the weekend, and my next will probably be next week.

I excercise regularly as well, and I have a pretty consistent weight maybe going up and down a pound every week or so.

I actually got the weightwatchers books from my sister in law who lost a lot of weight and found a new lifestyle of how to eat at home and out of the home. I really like it so far and have lost weight from just making small changes. Overall I feel healthier and with more energy too. I attended my first meeting with them because I was so happy that I lost weight with just the books she gave me that I figured it cant hurt to join them and its great. you should try it out. There are people at the meeting that are of all sizes and they are all friendly and welcoming and have wonderful tips.

The best advice I can give you is to educate yourself so you can make informed decisions on this subject. Do NOT listen to the so called "food experts" that are nothing more than "hired guns" of the food industry marketing army's tools to convince you to buy some of their products. It's a great way to make them look credible and to sell you garbage to create genetic trash cans to deposit their waste to promote Profit over Health.

Buy this book called, "Life Without Bread" by Christian Allan, Ph.D. It is a very good book and easy reading. You will gain lots of information on what is good to eat and what is not.

After reading this book, you will be able to make good decisions and become much healthier.

good luck
