Do fad diets work?!

Question: Fad diets do work but once you stop, you will gain back all the weight you lost and more.

This is because any form of diet that involves starving or removing a food source will screw up the metabolism.

Once you go back to eating normally, the metabolism cannot compensate for the increase of food intake so you get fat much faster and easier than before.

The only way to keep it off is to maintain the diet forever. The only diet which will not screw up your metabolism is the ABS diet (The ABS Diet for Women) which is composed of eating healthy and frequently and exercise.

no just eat sensibly and you will be fine

no way dont even try it!

Yes . . .

if you yo-yo diet you'll end up putting the weight back on...
when you cut the calories you are eating, you're body thinks theres a lack of food and so stores all the fat and calories you do eat.....
just eat healthy and you'll be fine

NO they dont!!
If you wanna lose weight you need to lowwer your carbs intake (Complex carbs like brown rice, sweet potato's etc are good) and up your protien intake.Cut out dairy products etc,
try to eat small meals ever 2-3 hours
and exercise 4-5days's a week!
remember if u really wanna lose weight then u gotta be strict with yourself.
it worked for me

Fad diets don't work and a lot of diets can actually be bad for you.Whenever you see ads saying lose 30 pounds a month,it's all nonsense.Of course you can lose 30 ponds in a month, just stop eating.Losing 2-3 pounds a week is the maximum anyone should aim for.Simply because this type of weight loss doesn't place too much stress on your body or on your mind.It might take a bit longer to lose weight but it will be more lasting.Always remember that it takes time to put on weight,so it stands o reason that it will take time to lose it.Your body is a living entity, meaning that it needs time for changes to occur to it.Try to rush this process and the weight will come back with a vengeance. Also keep in mind that your body doesn't like change,so the best way to try and change it is to coax it a little at a time, and not to force it.Try to force it and you will fail. You can get more info at http://www.easierwayz.com

Does the fact that they are called "fad diets" sound suspicious to you? If they worked, why would we need another one to try?

Yes they do work!

losing weight is all about self control! people say that fads do not work but they believe this because people who go on these so called "fads" just gain the weight once they stop the fad!

What goes in the body must go out!

You will lose weight double fast if you exercise!
