Healthy Meal plan?!

Question: I've been eating the same things for several months now, namely because they are very inexpensive. I'm curious if I get enough nutrition. I eat several times a day, but really no variety from day to day.

6:00 bowl of oatmeal
9:30 turkey sandwich, wheat bread
12:00 1 can of tuna in water, some celery/peanut butter
2:30 turkey sandwich
5:00 grilled chicken/broccoli or PBJ sandwich
7:00 some sort of fruit, usually an apple.
a few beers after-work, probably not so good ;)

I don't really feel fatigued during the day, but I find it difficult to get up in the mornings and become alert. I do a lot of moving around during the day, walking, lifting, and routine labor. And I lift weights 30 minutes mon/wed/fri.

Thanks!

Your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is 2058.35 - that's how many calories your body would burn if you just laid around in bed all day without moving. I'm guessing you're probably eating about 1800 calories of food (without the beers), so that isn't really enough for you. I would recommend eating more at each meal (for example, supplement the turkey sandwich with a salad or something, or have an All-Bran bar with your fruit). It's good that you're eating several smaller meals throughout the day, and it sounds like you're getting a pretty decent amount of protein and carbs. More fruits and veggies in your diet wouldn't hurt though :)

Hope this helped a bit
