What is the quickest way to get in shape?!

1- walk 30 minutes at a fast pace four - five days a week
2- push ups and ab crunches three times a week
3- after a month of this, move up to free weights. you can start with dumbbells. plenty of weight exercise information on internet: www.shape.com
4- be consistent and stick with it - try to improve each week
