Exercise bike, uncomfortable seat..?!


Question: So I don't know about anyone else, but after just 20 minutes my butt feels numb and bruised! Totally gets me out of the mood to workout. I tried putting a pillow on the seat, but my legs barely reached the pedals..+the seat is all the way down.
Any ideas on how to make the seat more comfy?

i went to some spinning classes and they have gel seat covers and padded shorts that supposedly help ease the pain. the only thing i found that worked was taking some advil before the class and moving around as little as possible in the seat..it hurts for a while but it sorta goes away after a little bit. id suggest looking into padded seat cushions..they may be cheaper then the shorts and more comfortable...good luck

Stop exercising and let your butt get big then you'll have more natural padding......Only problem is you get into a vicious cycle.

try a lamb skin cover i know some of my buddies use them on their Harley's and they say they work

Just change the seat.
