That's what my gym teacher used to call them...that was about 13 years ago, though.

the excersices have the same name, with or without using weights.

No, I don't think there's a specific name, except for the names themselves.
Such as Push-ups, sit-ups etc, there's no specific group you can categorize them in, like you can with "weight training" and "cardio".
