What is a Sauna for?!


Question: i go to 24hour fitness and today i tried a SAuna it was freaking hot in there and started sweating and stuff.. is that its main purpose? if u wonder why i went in there in the first place, im just a curious person so i went in there... i was sweating like a pig.. so back to my question whats the purpose of a sauna? is it healthy? OR WHAT?

A sauna is healthy it is a good way to relax and relieve stress while cleansing the body of built up toxins. The sauna is also great for the skin. If you have a problem with whiteheads. blackheads or pimples after taking a sauna the removal of these is easier and leaves the skin scar free. The sauna can also be beneficial to those with ashtma. The Finns were some of the first to have saunas and used them to cleanse the mind, rejuvenate and refresh the spirit. The saunacan be dangerous if not careful hyperthermia (heat stroke) can happen. A cool shower afterwards can cause a great increase in blood pressure careful moderation is advisd form those with a history of hypertension or strike. The best thing to do when exiting a hot sauna is to take a few moments before enteriong the cold plunge and when entering the cold plunge to do so slowly and carefully so as not to shock your system.

A souna is using heat to open your pores in your skin thats why you sweat and it cleans out all the dirt and backteria that was there.
