long-term use of ephedrine can lead to tachyphylaxis. Increasing dosage can induce toxic effects, including peripheral vasconstriction and cardiac stimulation, leading to increased blood pressure and increased heart rate; adverse effects on the central nervous system include nervousness, anxiety, tremor, weakness, irritability and insomnia. These effects increase with high doses, and overdose leads to nausea, vomiting, fever, palpitations, tachycardia, hypertension, paranoid psychosis, respiratory depression, convulsions and coma. This product has been banned and people have died from taking it. Basically it can raise your blood pressure to the point that you could have a heart attack. If you mix this with exercise you will be more at risk and it can hurt you in the long run. My opinion is to stay away from it because it can hurt you more then help you. I know you will hate to hear it, but a healthy diet and exercise will help you better then ephedrine, and it is healthier also.

I believe ephedrine was banned by the FDA, or was that ephedra? Anyways, I think as long as you excercise regularly and eat healthy you don't need any pills.
