How long to wait to exercise after dinner?!
Question: I know, I know...it's not the best time to exercise, but that's the only time my husband can watch my toddler and give me an hour to work out. I usually do an hour of moderately brisk walking (3.5 mph/2% incline) on the treadmill. So, would it be ok to start the workout 30-45 minutes after eating a normal dinner?

They say 1 hr, but I'm like you I work out after dinner & can only wait 30-35 minutes & I do Ok. I just don't go crazy, situps, tread mill light & I'm ok. You should be fine.
Depends, do you feel like keeping the food you just ate in your stomach?
I would barf if I worked out right after I ate. I would say wait an hour to an hour and half- especially if you drank a lot and if you are going to do cardio.
If you are doing just weights, heck with it, workout as you are eating!
haha.
