What is the proper diet/calorie intake for someone my size?!


Question: I am going into the police academy within a couple of years and want to be in the best physical shape possible. I have a lot of muscle but also have a lot of extra flab that needs to go. What is a good diet plan for me at 5'11 and 250 pounds?

Im about 6 foot, 220 lbs, and it really depends on how active you are. Eat a high protein diet, so you dont lose your muscle, but also make sure you burn more calories than you take in. I would suggest a man of your size eat 2000 to 3000 calories a day, and try to burn about 500 more than you eat.

im guessing your a guy..i read that. at 5 foot even a man should weigh about 106 pounds for every inch you are taller than that you add 6 pounds..so at 5'11 you'd ideally want to be at...hold on lemme do the math..172...i think thats right..
