Your body is definitely crying out for more calories. If you consumed 1600 calories daily without gaining weight before you started an exercise program, you clearly need to consume more than that depending on the type of exercise you're doing. Remember that muscle building and fat burning are very hard work for your body and it needs the extra nourishment to carry out these processes. To help prevent hunger after workouts, try to snack on protein rich foods before exercising (E.g. a handful of almonds or a hardboiled egg).
Also, remember to drink lots of water before, during and after exercising...the feeling of hunger is one of the first signs of dehydration. If your body is not getting enough fluid you will tend to feel hungry more often. It is possible that you are simply dehydrated and not really hungry at all.

Of course its normal, its actually good to eat after yout exersice. Im talking about PIGGING out after you exersice, but I light snack/meal is actually good.
You can eat yogurt and a fruit like an apple or a light salad and some veggies - to give your body energy.

So eat after you workout, so you wont feel like your DYING!!

Your body may need extra calories after you exercise. Eat something light and drink water. It takes 20 mins. to feel satisfied. If you don't have weight to lose, your body should tone with exercise even if you add a few more calories. Your metabolic rate increases and can burn those extras.

I recommend you eating fresh veggies like carrots, celery, lettuce, green pepper, tomatoes or fruits during the day.....exercise, drink plenty water and you should do fine....occasionally you will experience a hunger pain but definitely not all day...I'm eating fruits & veggies, taking Slim Fast shakes and doing wonderful.
