Picky eater???!


Question: ok so im kind of a picky eater so its hard to find healthy things i liek to eat that i actually like!!
i dont like:
any meat or fish
beets, pepper, cabbage, raw carrots, Cauliflower, onions leeks, cooked spinach, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, aparagus, avacado, celary, chick peas, cucumber, eggplant, Zucchini or mushrooms
i only eat fruit in the summer except for bananas and grapes and apples
yogurt
any cheese besides mozzerella, parmesan and chedder
any nuts except almonds and walnuts ((unless they r in candy))
i only like beans if they r in a mexican dish
i only like rice if it has cheese
i dont like milk by itself unless its in a protein shake
im pretty sure thats it ^^

You need to learn to cook. When you're the cook in the house, you get to cook whatever you like. Pick up a good, easy cookbook like those written by Rachael Ray, and experiment with substituting ingredients you do like for the ones you don't in her recipes.

get over youself - im sorry but that is unnatural. you should try starving for a while then you will soon appreciate all food

What DO you eat? It'd be easier to say that! Carrots, lettuce, fruit, whole wheat bread.

wow thats one heck of a list,everything I thought of was on ur list? Im extremly picky eater too,but I think I finlly found a person worst then me! lol

Well I think we are about tied. I am the same way but with different preferences.

People suggest to keep trying these foods cooked differently but that doesn't work for me. I eat what I like and can work with it, I assume you can too or you wouldn't still be here.

uh, thats not good, you like almost nothing, as someone said before try starving yourself, you will appreciate the food then....

Yeah! id say you are a picky eater, but so what!!! Its your body, you should care what goes into it.
At least you like some healthy stuff. Make sure to take a multi-vitamin to make up for nutrients you may be missing.

How about trying vegetarian/vegan meat alternatives such as Quorn or Tofu. Have you tried pasta with pesto and parmesan? I think you eat enough different things to survive, a long as your weight stays stable you should be ok.

I'm not sure what your question is...

But I do hope that when you have children, you encourage them to experience a wider variety of vegetables and foods than you do.

It must make your life terribly difficult at times, when you go out to restaurants for example, or to dinner at other peoples homes.

What is the upside? Do you get a lot of attention?

I bet you will get a lot of attention when you are 40 and weigh 300 pounds...

i was watching the discovery health channel the other day and they were discussing picky eaters. The study showed that if you tried one of the foods you don't like for 10 days in a row, even just a Small bite, your taste buds would change and you would begin to like whatever the food was.

I tried it with artichokes, because I never got the taste for them and it only took me 5 days of eating them and now I love them.

What I'm reading here is that you're only picky in healthier choices.
Milk, only in a shake.
Rice, only with cheese.
Eggs, only in baked goods.
Nuts, except in candy.

I think the problem is that you have a stigma against healthy things. Try sprinkling some sugar on other types of nuts. Or try flavored milks or rice with a sprinkling of cheese. Try to find some protein you eat too, because at this point I really don't see any protein you will eat.

YOUR TASTE WILL IMPROVE WITH AGE

so u like junk food? well nobody can make you eat what you dont like....starve to weight loss! millions do it everyday. harsh, but true. otherwise, hand me some of your chocolate, and cake =)
