It depends on the strength of the cough drop. Usually it says some where on the packaging. usually it says eat one evey hour or when ever your throat needs it

Depends on the amount of medicine in them. Look on the back of the package and see what the doseage is and what it says. It should say do not exceed ___ in 24 hours. Other than cough drops, try honey and drink water to help your throat.
It should be written on the bottle or on the cover if it was prescribed by a doctor. There should be a leaflet in it, if is lost or there is none try checking on the bottle for instructions.
I don't know about your cough drops. The typical cough drops for adults here are taken 3 to 4 times a day, one tablespoon each time depending on how severe your cough is and how strong the cough drop is. Strong cough drops I know are taken 3 times a day, one tablespoon each time. Prescription for children may even be one teaspoon each time, 3 times a day.
