yea, you need to get the blood flowing to those muscles again. lactic acid fills your muscles and lets you know they hurt so you dont over do it. but you need to have blood flowing in to push ou t the acid. you will feel better

it sounds like you overdid it 2 days ago. Working out is smart and wonderful but you need to start a little slower. If you're in so much pain you can barely move without screaming, take a little more time off before you work out the same muscles again. Usually each muscle can be worked every other day but if you really overdid it, you should give it a little more of a break. That doesn't mean you shouldn't do anything....some cardio exercise like walking or bike riding would be good, some light stretching would also be good for the aching muscles.
If you're only in a litlte bit of pain, it's probably okay to work out the muscle again 2 days later. Some muscle ache is good...that's how you know the exercise is working. You build muscle by breaking down the tissue and letting the body build it back up again.
