What exercises will tone legs and bums, that doesn't involve running?!


Question: Donkey Kicks, get on all fours and kick the legs back like a donkey would twenty times each leg.

Walking very quickly.

Swimming.

cycling, rope jumping!!

I suggest you to exercise everyday? or maybe 2~4 days a week.

walking up stairs.

Step machine, going up stairs, weight training. Running doesn't do it for legs in the same way as weight training, which despite popular belief, will not bulk you out unless you are packing in a massive amount of protein supplements to your diet.

squats. make sure ur knees dont cross your toes.

try an elliptical machine - they're great!

swimming tones all you're body.
squats tones you're bum and thighs.
riding a bike also helps.
best one for bums is horseriding.

there are lots but you have to keep exercising.

You can tone legs, bums and tums simply by doing some floor exercises......such as sit ups, leg raises.
If you go onto the net they have loads of different exercises you can do...Even ones for the office (which is what i do)

I've just started cycling to work and I can quite honestly say that my legs and bum are aching like mad. I can't run because of some joint problems and have no problem with cycling.

Cycling, swimming and walking will all help you tone your legs and bum although running is the best all rounder as it tones up everything, though you will lose weight also.
Squats work wonders but combine it with one or all of the above cardio exercises..

Pretend that you are sitting on a chair up against the wall but with out te chair in five minutes sessions three times a day and try doing squats as well. Also you can buy horse riding stimulaters and all the people who tried them on superslim vs supersize lost an average of three inches from their thigh's bum's and tum's and worked on the pelvic floor muscles.

Squats and lunges are amazing for legs. You can do them holding weights which will help too. Here's a link for doing lunges: http://realwomensfitness.com/lower-body-... If you don't do it right your knees will hurt and you won't see the results. To be honest they aren't very interesting and I get bored but if you do some in front of the TV I can promise you you'll see results. The donkey kick one is good too, but it has to be a slow controlled movement. Look them up on the internet and see how to do each one correctly.

running/walking up and down the stairs is good. i did it for 20 mins everyday and lost an inch and 1/2 from my hips and 1 inch from my thighs.
